It was in college when Jean was pursuing fine art classes, that her interest in watercolor painting was sparked. Later when she studied with various well known artists in the Denver area she perfected her skills in painting landscapes and mountain scenes. The remarkable detail in her atmospheric landscapes - makes her particular style very unique.

Inspiration for her paintings came from years of hiking, camping and skiing in the Rocky Mountains and traveling throughout the Western states - appreciating and observing Nature during the different Seasons of the year.

Jean says “ I have always loved to paint and I love sharing this passion in my paintings with others. I want your spirit to soar as you feel the Rocky Mountain breeze, hear the rustling of Aspen leaves in the wind, smell the rain on the wet grass and in the air, feel the warmth of a sunny day or the crispness of the air after a winter snow.”
